Astrology for self development

Updated: Dec 1, 2019

Have you ever wondered why you act the way you do? Why you react the way that you do?

I started to pay attention to my behaviors and one day I was on social media and I came across a Video on Astrology. I said, What the heck lets try it, after all I was a bit familiar with what Astrology was but never really applied it to my own life. It had been a very dark winter for me and I was reaching for the light. I had broken up with my boyfriend at the time and was in a dark night of the soul. I had failed nursing school that year too. I took a leap and enrolled in a course called APPLIED ASTROLOGY with Debra Silverman. I had no idea what I was getting into. I just knew I needed to keep my mind busy and my spirits up. I had always loved to read self-help books. I seemed to be looking for myself in books. Nonetheless, I dove into the online course . I was hooked! I was pushed to become an individual. I was fascinated by my birth-chart. It was the best tool I had ever come across for self development. I found a tribe that understood me. It was a tribe that was seeking the same answers. I felt like I was becoming and belonging . The two principles that we as human beings long for. I learned about the four elements of water, air, earth and fire. I became obsessed with learning a persons elemental nature. Finally, I had a better understanding of people . It was Astrology that built that foundation for me. I learned about the outer sky and the planets that live inside. We all have a Sun, moon, mercury, mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto and Neptune that live in our inner world. When we open our minds to this concept , the mind becomes limitless , fearless. At least mine did. I embraced the unconventional, the wild and weird. I made space for Astrology as a way of healing and a way to make a living.
